REVELATION 11

Rev. 11:1  And

[1] there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and

[2] the angel [messenger] stood [this messenger is Jesus (vs. 11:3; Rev. 10:5)], saying,

                        [a.] Rise, and measure

[11.] the temple of God, and

                                    [12.] the altar, and

[13.] them that worship therein [Temple worship has been restored in Jerusalem].

11:2               [b.] But the court which is without the temple

                                    [11.] leave out, and

                                    [12.] measure it not; for

[aa.] it is given unto the Gentiles: and

[ab.] the holy city shall they [the Antichrist]  tread under foot

[111.] forty [and] two months.
