REVELATION 7

Angels seal the 144,000

Rev. 7:1 And after these things [after the rapture of the Church and judgments of the 6th seal] I saw four angels

[1] standing on the four corners of the earth,

[2] holding the four winds of the earth,

that the wind [of war] should not

[a.] blow on the earth, nor

[b.] [blow] on the sea, nor

[c.] [blow] on any tree.

7:2 And I saw another angel

[1] ascending from the east,

[2] having the seal of the living God: and

[3] he cried with a loud voice to the four angels,

[a.] to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

7:3 Saying,

[4] Hurt not

[a.] the earth, neither

[b.] the sea, nor

[c.] the trees,

till we have sealed the servants [the 144,000 natural men of the 12 tribes of Jacob, redeemed from the earth (Rev. 14:4): the remnant of Israel (the whole house of Jacob)] of our God in their foreheads.

7:4 And I heard the number of them

[1] which were sealed: [and there were] sealed

[2] an hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand

[a.] of all the tribes of the children of Israel [The Whole House of Israel].

The 144,000 are sealed

7:5 Of the tribe of

[1] Juda [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of

[2] Reuben [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of

[3] Gad [were] sealed twelve thousand.

7:6 Of the tribe of

[4] Aser [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of

[5] Nephthalim [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of

[6] Manasses [Joseph’s youngest son who was blessed by Jacob, sealed in the place of the tribe of Dan] [were] sealed twelve thousand.

7:7 Of the tribe of

[7] Simeon [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of

[8] Levi [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of

[9] Issachar [were] sealed twelve thousand.

7:8 Of the tribe of

[10] Zabulon [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of

[11] Joseph [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of

[12] Benjamin [were] sealed twelve thousand.
