ISRAEL'S OIL AND GAS WEALTH AND THE DESTRUCTION OF DAMASCUS WILL LAUNCH THE WAR OF EZEKIEL 38-39
A massive underground flow of oil and gas into Israel [which has already begun; see Israel: The World's Bankers], which will generate immense Israeli wealth, provokes Syria to attempt to push Israel into the sea. Israel responds with a nuclear destruction of Damascus (Isa. 17:1), from which it encounters the wrath of the world united against it. This is the hook-in-the-jaw of Ezekiel 38:4 that provokes Russia, Germany, and the confederacy of nations of Ezekiel 38 (like Desert Storm led by the United States and England against Iraq) to bring a non-nuclear land assault to bring down the government of Israel. With the triggers of the world's nuclear powers armed and ready to destroy each other (as well as the world) the war-weary, debt-plagued, and out-manned United States is forced into a policy of non-intervention. This war is fought on the mountains of Israel: the West Bank (which is Biblical Judah); and not in the valley of Megiddo in Northern Israel where Armageddon will be fought (see Zech. 12:11 and Rev. 16:16).
This war is an absolute prophetic necessity as: 1) Before Jesus can return (Acts 3:21), Israel must return to the Law of Moses in a rebuilt temple on the Temple Mount. God's miraculous intervention to save Israel before the eyes of the entire world [while the United States is politically, economically, and militarily frozen and gets no glory] is what God will use to turn the Jewish nation back to Jehovah...Jehovah before Yehoshua [Jesus]; 2) Nether Russia or Germany was ever part of the Roman Empire, and will not be a part of the Revised Roman Empire [whose boundaries will be substantially the same as the old Roman Empire]...and while on the subject, the Antichrist comes from Syria and not Europe (see How To Quickly Locate the Antichrist in Scripture; see also Endnotes #8 and 9, The Chronological Revelation; see also Chapter 13 and Chapter 17 in The Book of Revelation In Verse-by-Verse Outline). For the Antichrist to appear, not only must there be a major realignment of the 10 European-Asian nations that will comprise the Revised Roman Empire; but God must destroy 5/6th of the manpower of the armies of both Russia and Germany (Ezek. 39:2), which He can only do in a non-nuclear land assault against Israel.
