Wake Up America: The Root Cause for Terrorism is Slavery

(Click on links to see references)

God said this to sometime before September 11, 2001, "I have not forgotten 300 years of slavery!"  Any who doubt this statement can read the first 15 chapters of the book of Exodus.  As God judged Egypt and transferred its wealth to the children of Israel in payment for 400 years of slavery when He brought them out, so  has the judgment of God's Word come upon the United States and its immense accumulated wealth, for the way that it has treated the African Continent and its former slaves—which, like the children of Israel, He also set free. [See Why New York City's Twin Towers Fell; see also the accompanying page from The Voice on the LordThe Judgments of James 5 and Slavery, and God's Call to the United States]

Let’s look at the 5th chapter of James:

Jas. 5:1  Go to now, [ye] rich men [the wicked rich], weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon [you].  2  Your riches are corrupted.  3  Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days [God has allowed the sons of Japheth to accumulate great storehouses of treasure for His use in the last days].

4  Behold [look], the hire [the wages or lack thereof] of the labourers who have reaped down your fields [laborers who have reaped the fields during 300 years of slavery and 130+ years of a post-reconstruction defacto slavery that has failed to economically absorb all but a few blacks into the mainstream of blessings that God has given to this nation], which is of you kept back by fraud [“fraud” is what God calls the economics of slavery and post-slavery minimum wage, below minimum wage and no benefit jobs manned by blacks and other working poor], crieth [300 years of no wages and 130+ years grossly insufficient wages are crying out to God]: and the cries of them which have reaped [the cries of the blacks and the working poor of this nation have been heard by God] are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth [God has heard, and for His Glory He will judge].  5  Ye [the United States and the sons of Japheth] have lived in pleasure on the earth [pleasures supported by a large underclass of people to which Western society has provided no Godly answer], and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter [when the twin towers fell (Isa. 30:25)]. 6  Ye have condemned [and] killed the just; [and] he doth not resist you [what a vivid picture of U.S. slavery].

7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord [God is coming to all of His people, including this nation's former slaves, with the wealth of the wicked]. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth [it's harvest time], and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain [this latter-rain outpouring of God’s Spirit is for the payment of the just debt of this nation and to bring a vast harvest of African-American souls into the body of Christ].  8  Be ye also patient; stablish [establish] your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh [to right the economic wrongs of this nation's past].

As a result of the hard bondage of this nation on its former slaves, the judgments of James 5 have begun to come upon the United States of America. They will continue until the United States as a nation confesses its sins of slavery and its lingering legacy; and then makes restitution. [See also The Voice on the Lord: The Judgments of James 5 and Slavery, and God's Call to the United States]

           II Chronicles 7:14 says:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked  ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

In order for the United States of America to be healed as a land and a nation blessed by God, there are four conditions that God’s people must meet.  They must:

1.      Humble themselves [by acknowledging, confessing, and repenting of the sins of this nation against black people according to I John 1:9; and by accepting full and personal responsibility for the inevitable and predictable consequences of these sins—both of commission and omission—on the black family and community, easily seen throughout this nation],

2.      Pray [without ceasing],

3.      Seek God’s face [by letting Him restructure the finances of this nation according to all that He has commanded in His Word, including economic restitution for 400 years of slavery, the pattern of which is set forth in Exodus 12:35-36, see below], and

4.      Turn from their wicked [and twisted] ways [concerning this nation’s wrongful relationship with its money, its poor, and its black citizens].

Jesus says that when His people meet these conditions, then He will hear from the Father in heaven and will heal this land.

Genesis 15:13-16

13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land [that is] not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. 15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age. 16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites [is] not yet full.

Exodus 12:35-36

35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver and jewels of gold, and raiment; 36 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required...

A word concerning the prophetic significance of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on New York City and Washington, D. C.

I see three areas of prophetic significance in the terrorists' attack of September 11, 2001, which leveled the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City [see Why New York City's Twin Towers Fell] and hit the Pentagon [the United States' military headquarters] in Washington, D. C. They are as follows:

            1.    According to the leading rabbis of Israel, the judgment of nations spoken of in the 25th Chapter of Jeremiah began on  September 11, 1999 (9/11), the Jewish holy day, Rosh Hashanah.  The twin towers fell on the same day, September 11, 2001 (another 9/11). Peter said, For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God (1 Pet. 4:17). As the primary carrier and sender of the gospel to the world, the United States both historically and presently can rightly be called the "house of God." The judgment of nations has begun on the USA. God [who had absolutely nothing to do with or in any way sanctioned this attack] wishes to bring the people of the United States much closer to the nation of Israel, whose people live all the days of their lives under the constant danger of attacks of terrorism.

            2.    This attack on America is the beginning of the end of militant Islam as a middle-Eastern and world religious force. Following the World War II nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the gods of Japan were in such disarray that the United States Pacific commander, General Douglas MacArthur, said to send 10,000 missionaries into Japan, and had we done so Japan today would be a Christian nation. We must see the spiritual side of these bombings as a judgment of the gods of Japan, in the identical manner as the 10 plagues that God brought upon Egypt was a judgment of the gods of Egypt (Exo. 12:12). As the United States uses its political, economic and military might (directed by the forcible and effectual prayers of God's people) to root out and destroy terrorism as threat in the earth, God is already at work to open the Middle East to the Gospel and bring in millions of these sons of Abraham into the Body of Christ. The gods of Islam will fall as we send in missionaries with the saving message of the Lord Jesus Christ. Also, once we see from Scripture that the Antichrist will come from Syria and not from Europe (see How To Quickly Locate the Antichrist in Scripture), we can also discern that unless and until the strongholds of militant Islam are broken over the Middle East, that the Antichrist simply cannot be revealed in the earth.

            3.    Finally, when we narrowly apply James 5:1-8 (see above) to the United States of America, we can readily see that this terrorist attack on the World Trade Center is another judgment against the wealth of this nation, the judgment of which God prophesized in His Word almost 2,000 years ago. If we don't discern the spiritual cause of this attack, we will miss the cure for future attacks against the wealth of this nation. Terrorism as a weapon of mass destruction must and shall be dealt with. But, if there was not a single terrorist left alive in the earth, the attacks against the wealth of the United States would simply arise from another and unrelated source. Why, because the spiritual roots of this attack lie in America's failure to acknowledge, repent of, and make monetary restitution to the descendants of its former slaves, only few of which have fully entered into the economic, social, and educational mainstream of the United States.

In the eyes and heart of God, America has an unpaid debt to its former slaves which has lead to this the second major attack on its wealth. I believe the first attack came in the year 2000 when the State of California's two major public utilities, Southern California Edison and Pacific Gas and Electric, in less than a year went from rock-solid, substantial quasi-public institutions to bankruptcy; and led to the recall of California's governor. The magnitude of the Katrina Hurricane and New Orleans' flood in August of 2005 is most certainly connected to these judgments, New Orleans as a major slave portal; and our government's lack of response (in the writer's humble opinion) cannot be understood in a traditional analysis of racism in government institutions and  funding priorities, but that economic interests on both sides of the political spectrum want the valuable urban land formerly occupied by America's former slaves for high density upper-middle income residential and commercial development...which will only trigger a further judgment from God's self-executing eternal law of sowing and reaping (see Gal. 6:7).

Not commonly known by most Americans who are ignorant of their history, is that New York City was also a major slave portal, and has a very sordid and bloody slave history of massacres and live burnings (enter "New York slave revolts" in your search engine; or try the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Slave_Insurrection_of_1741 ). Consider also the total devastation by a tornado of Greensburg, Kansas on May 4, 2007 (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greensburg,_Kansas; for aerial photos see http://www.kansas.com/static/slides/050507tornadoaerials/ ). If this total destruction is not caused by a curse, please explain? This cannot be an act of God,because God does not "act" this way (enter "bleeding Kansas" in your search engine; or try the link http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/aia/part4/4p2952.html for an interesting mostly forgotten piece of American history).

When the cup of sin is full, it spills over into judgment. America's slaves were freed (or fired) in 1865; it has been the mercy of God that has stayed judgment for so long. But, God's Word is true (please re-read James 5:1-8, above). It took Pharaoh 10 plagues before he got the message. Will we in this nation be so foolish as to not recognize that in James 5 God is talking to the United States, and that our financial destiny and prosperitylong after the terrorism issue is settledis in jeopardy? The God-given solution to this issue is also in God's Word. This nation's financial future is in our own hands, and what we must do to be healed as a nation is set forth above. Ask God for a spiritual understanding of these issues, as I am not expounding politics, economics, reparations or racebut only what God has set forth rather plainly in His Word. The judgment of God's Word has come upon the wealth of the United States. We are the only ones who can remove it. God cannot!

If you receive this as being from God, whether an American or not, begin to pray the prayer of Daniel 9:4-19substituting the United States where Israel is mentionedas God delights in mercy!

Why New York City's Twin Towers Fell

Isa. 30:25 And [this single event will shake every nation on the earth], and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters [the Anointing shall be everywhere as the earth becomes flooded with the Glory of God (Num. 14:21; Hab. 2:14)] in the day of the great slaughter** (James 5:5), when the towers fall [Isaiah proclaimed this event 700 years before the birth of Jesus].

[** The day of slaughter is only used one other time is the Bible, in James 5:5 (see James 5:1-8, above).  The door that the United States has left open, which gave Satan the opportunity to destroy these towers, is its failure to bring repentance, restitution and closure to the vast remnants of African slavery.]
